Land owners

Landowners are important part of solar power projects

We collaborate with landowners throughout the entire lifecycle of a solar power project. Our approach is based on working together to move projects forward.

Once we identify a potential area suitable for a solar power plant, we conduct extensive preliminary studies. Afterward, we assess the landowners’ interest in developing the area with us and begin the process of drafting land lease agreements. The land lease agreement is consistent in content, regardless of the owner or the property’s location within the project area.

We maintain contact with landowners not only by phone and email but also via Teams or in-person meetings. We organize landowner events in the project area, and you can also arrange a meeting with us over coffee, for example, at a local service station.

Landowners benefit from solar power projects primarily through land rental income. The hectare-based rent received by landowners is significantly higher than the income generated from forestry or agriculture. The infrastructure of a solar power park occupies 85-90 percent of the total leased area. Enersense Wind Oy covers all project development and permitting costs, so there are no expenses for the landowners.

Landowners also benefit from solar power projects through improved and maintained roads. Enersense Wind repairs and maintains the roads needed for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the solar power area, and ensures they are kept open year-round. The maintenance fees for road associations may also decrease or even be eliminated as a result of the solar power project. There are no costs to landowners from the projects.

We are constantly seeking areas across Finland that are suitable for solar power production. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to discuss the suitability of your property as a solar power area.

Let’s start planning a solar power project together and work toward a cleaner tomorrow!
