Enersense has signed an agreement on the modernisation of Valmiera-Tartu and Valmiera-Tsirguliina power lines Enersense International Plc Press release, 15 July 2021 at 4.00 p.m. Empower SIA, Latvian subsidiary of Enersense International Plc, a provider of zero-emission energy solutions, in which Enersense has 59 per cent ownership, has signed an agreement with a Latvian power grid company AS Augstsprieguma tikls on the modernisation of the 330 kV power lines between Valmiera (Latvia) – Tartu (Estonia) and Valmiera – Tsirguliina (Estonia). Empower SIA and Estonian Leonhard Weiss Oü, a provider of integrated grid planning, construction, and maintenance, will be jointly responsible for the implementation of the project. The project consists of preparations and planning, the dismantling of the existing power lines, and the construction of the new power lines.
