Enhancing sustainable work life

A sustainable working life is the foundation of everything we do at Enersense. We take care of the safety, wellbeing and equal opportunities of our employees and ensure that responsibility extends throughout our entire value chain.

Our goals are clear and measurable, and we develop our operations in a long-term and systematic way in cooperation with our employees and partners.

Our target is zero accidents

The safety of our employees is an absolute priority for us. Our target is zero accidents, and we are making determined progress towards this target. We actively monitor the frequency of lost-time incidents.

Safety work consists of everyday actions at worksites and offices, proactive risk management, and an open safety culture where everyone has responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact. Wellbeing is also reflected in supporting work ability and flexible working arrangements in different life situations.

We want to be a diverse and inclusive workplace

We want to be a workplace where people with different backgrounds can succeed and develop. We promote diversity and inclusion across the entire organisation.

Our goal is to increase the share of women to 5 per cent of the blue-collar employees and to 28 per cent among white-collar employees.

We work towards these goals through recruitment practices, career development and leadership. Diversity is a strength for us, supporting better decision-making and sustainable business.

We ensure responsible procurement practices

A sustainable working life does not end with our own employees. We ensure responsible procurement practices and the respect of human rights throughout the supply chain.

We require all our suppliers to commit to Enersense’s Supplier Code of Conduct. Our goal is for this commitment to cover more than 100 per cent of our supplier spend. In practice, this means respect for human rights, fair working conditions, safety and responsible operations in all our countries of operation.

We regularly monitor employee experience, and our target for the engagement index is 4.2.
