We are currently looking for a Logistics Planner for our client's manufacturing plant project in Munich, Germany. The Logistics Planner is assigned to the overall logistics management of the locomotive plant and works in very close coordination with the operational managers of logistics as well as numerous interface partners (internal e.g. construction planning, purchasing, work preparation; external e.g. logistics service providers, suppliers). 

Main responsibilities in this role are:

  • Planning and implementation of layouts for material logistics
  • Planning and implementation of additional logistics processes (e.g. temporary external replenishment warehouse), based on existing standards
  • Creation and management of project planning using e.g. MS Project
  • Active communication with all levels of plant organization as well as internal and external interface partners
  • Definition and coordination of the necessary warehouse and transport technology with the operational logistics managers within defined budget
  • Preparation and implementation of tenders with the interface partners of strategic purchasing
  • Assumption of operational logistical planning tasks if necessary, especially for a logical and high-performance material flow

Keys to success:

  • Relevant technical education 
  • Approx. 5 years of professional experience
  • Practical experience in the field of logistics planning (material flow, layouts, etc.)
  • Ideally experience with moving warehouse areas / moving a plant


  • German and English language skills
