Mechanical Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor for our client in Raahe, Finland. Starting date of the project is as soon as possible and estimated duration is until 18.12.2020.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Project Commissioning set up
  • Support with pipings and installations
  • Support with valve adjustments
  • Planning and coordination of project Commissioning and Operation activities for LNG process system’s
  • Support in the Development of the commissioning plan, efficient schedule and procedures
  • Take proactive measures and maintain strict follow-up for mitigation of impact on delays/constraints to the overall commissioning & start-up schedule
  • Ensure the alignment of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and Handover of assets is in accordance with the Project Completion procedures and the Handover Framework
  • Work collaboratively with the Commissioning Team and project contractors to ensure that the commissioning and start-up activities are planned, scheduled and progress
  • Create reports and site-specific documentation about progress, completion and obstacles
  • Verify equipment installations and environmental compliance
  • Ensure that commissioning activities are properly organized, scheduled and conducted in a structured and safe manner
  • Creating / Presenting Handover Certification and sign off


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • LNG experience from Commissioning stage
  • Experience of piping, installation and valves
  • Good understanding of LNG project procedures and requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Languages skills:

  • English language skills required
